About Olena:
A 10th grader passionate about design and environment, but not
academics.
Assessment:
Olena was creative and passionate. She had great communication
skills and personality but did not know how to apply her
passions to schoolwork.
The Plan:
Olena’s mentor worked with her to explore how she could learn
aspects of design that could solve environmental problems.
